Hey everybody, Christmas is coming soon in 2 weeks, anyone has prepared for it? I have made a Yule Log Cake to bring good luck. It started from the believe in some European Countries that burning yule log at Christmas Eve will bring good luck. it wasn’t hard but needed effort to create this glamour cake but totally worthy and so delicious!
The ingredients are:
Sponge Cake: (pan size 25cm x 37cm)
54g all purpose flour (6 tbs + 1 tsp)
12g cocoa powder (5 tsp)
4 large egg
73g sugar (⅓ cup)
20ml milk (4 tsp)
27g butter (2 tbs)
Filling:
60g semi sweet chocolate (⅓ cup)
240ml whipping cream (1 cup)
Frosting:
120g semi sweet chocolate (⅔ cup)
150ml whipping cream (⅔ cup)
Meringue Mushroom:
2 egg white
100g sugar (½ cup)
½ tsp cream of tartar
Sugar syrup (40g sugar + 50ml water) or (3 tbsp sugar + 3 tbsp water)
